Teva and Sydney
Welcome everyone!!! I am excited to start this journey in blog-land to keep everyone current on HypnoBirthing in Fayetteville, NC.
For all of those who do not know me, I am Teva Dellabalma, and I am a HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator (HBCE). I have been certified to teach HypnoBirthing classes since 2009, and have loved every minute of it! I also earned my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) in December of 2009, but chose to pursue a career of helping families to achieve gentle births. I was first introduced to HypnoBirthing in the early 2000′s and was intrigued by the concept, because it so closely mirrored how I’ve always felt about pregnancy and birthing: both should be peaceful, calm, gentle, joyful and natural. When I became pregnant with my daughter in 2006, I chose HypnoBirthing to achieve my gentle birth. Upon going into labor in July of 2007, I was excited and ready to meet my baby for the first time. Sydney was born into a peaceful environment, free of shouting, bright lights and rough handling. Because my birth made such an impact on me, I asked many questions about how to be a HypnoBirthing Practitioner, and followed my dream. I am proud to be fulfilled by the work that I do!
